American DanceWheels depends on support from interested individuals from both the able-bodied and disabled communities. It takes tremendous effort, time, and funds to design and implement the programs which are so beneficial to the participants and their audience. We want you to join us in the excitement of this new venture! Donations can be made to American DanceWheels Foundation, Inc. a nonprofit organization, qualified under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts to ADF qualify as tax deductible.
Volunteer
Volunteers are our most precious resource. As the number of individuals participating in wheelchair ballroom dancing grows so will the need for able-bodied partners. Partners for both social and competitive dancers are needed, giving beginners and trained dancers an opportunity to participate. Come to one of our events and you will want to be a part of this experience. Other opportunities are available for interested persons with expertise and talents in a variety of areas. Watch for American DanceWheels in your community!
Donate
Your donation will allow American DanceWheels to fulfill its mission of providing individuals with disabilities and their able-bodied partners the opportunity to learn Wheelchair Ballroom Dancing. Financial support is necessary in order to train disabled individuals, able-bodied partners, dance teachers, and adaptive sports professionals. In addition to training of individuals and teachers, the organization also requires funding for performance and competitive venues which is of utmost importance in heightening visibility and credence within traditional society.
Company Matching
You may be able to multiply your donation without sending more money. Many companies will match their employees' charitable donations. Ask your human resources department. If your employer matches donations for American DanceWheels Foundation, you'll need your employer's matching gift form.
Special Requests
Requests will be honored to direct your dollars toward a specific need if you so desire. The following funds have been created to help us accomplish our goals.
Children’s Fund
Provides resources for education, dance lessons and classes, demonstrations and performance.
Community Outreach Fund
Provides support for performance, choreography, and music needed to showcase wheelchair ballroom dance in the community.
Operations Fund
Supports the day to day operations of the Foundation.
