Dance Instructors

American DanceWheels' WheelOne syllabus teaches a skill that is new to most dance studios. Dance teachers have the ability to add to their repertoire. Wheelchair dancing is already very popular in Europe & Asia and is gaining more notice in the US because of organizations such as ADF. It is very social in nature so it can fit in well with existing dance class offerings.

Wheelchair Ballroom and Latin Dancing could open up a whole new customer base for teachers and studios. It is also a great way to interact with the local community as a whole and offers a chance for studios to get additional exposure in the areas where they teach.

Classes can be marketed to such groups as schools, veterans, seniors, support groups or hospitals

Since this is an inclusive activity that involves standing partners, you can also reach individuals that otherwise may not have considered the benefits and enjoyment that dance offers.

The instructional seminars are given twice a year. Our Wheel One™ syllabus is designed to give participants using wheelchairs the ability to social dance with standing partners. We have adapted the traditional ballroom and Latin dance steps and rhythms, creating a venue for partner dancing
