Dejua danced with ADF at Widener Memorial School for 6 years starting from when she was 12 years old. Dejua was a very shy person before learning how to dance. "Being able to ballroom dance in a wheelchair feels so good because I'd never thought I'd be able to do it. I'm still a little shy, but definitely not as much as I was before I started dancing."

She is most grateful for all of the fun memories she has shared throughout the years and for the times where she was able to show her family and friends her dance skills. Her most memorable moment was winning the Foxtrot competition the last year before graduation. "I was so excited. It was a perfect way to end the year!"

Dejua works for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and includes her experience with ADF on her resume under special skills. Her ultimate goal is to become a voice over artist in animated films and tv shows.
