ADF Teacher Training Seminar Fall, 2010

Wheelchair Ballroom and Latin Dance Instruction. Interested dance instructors, dancers using wheelchairs, as well as recreational, occupational and physical therapists are encouraged to participate in this fun and exciting weekend.

The instructional seminars are given twice a year.  Our Wheel One™ syllabus is designed to give participants using wheelchairs the ability to social dance with standing partners.  We have adapted the traditional ballroom and Latin dance steps and rhythms, creating a venue for partner dancing.

Learn to Partner Dance with One Person Using a Wheelchair and One Person Standing

Who Can Participate? Individuals with ambulatory disabilities, able-bodied partners, dance instructors, recreational therapists, adaptive sports professionals, and occupational and physical therapists. Individuals using power and manual wheelchairs are welcome.

Learn: The American DanceWheels’(ADF) American Style Wheel One™ Curriculum in rumba, cha cha, fox trot, tango, swing, and much more. This 3-day seminar is challenging, fun, and informative!
